This innovative crib from Chicco promotes side-sleeping and allows you to sleep close to your child without being in the same bed. Your child can sleep in the crib and can be cuddled and breast-fed comfortably, thanks to the dropside. It can also help newborns adjust their sleeping pattern and improve parent-child bonding, helping the child to grow up more confident and sociable. The crib can also be attached to the parent bed for co-sleeping.
The crib can travel with you everywhere thanks to the practical travel bag included. With 6 different height positions, it can be adjusted to most beds and can be used to ease reflux and congestion.
About Chicco
Chicco was founded in 1958 by Cavaliere del Lavoro Pietro Catelli who wanted to celebrate the birth of his first son Enrico, affectionately known as “Chicco”. On his death in 2006, the company passed into the hands of his three children Enrico, Michele and Francesca who continued to expand it worldwide by opening new branches in India, Russia, Mexico and Poland. Since May 2013, the role of Managing Director has been held by Claudio De Conto.
Why We Love it
It’s a great alternative to a Moses Basket and lasts much longer! We used this crib with the sleepyhead inside and our little girl loved sleeping in it. It can also be adjusted to different heights which is really handy if your little one has reflux.

Overall: The Chicco Next2Me is surprisingly lightweight so it’s a breeze to move around and set up, but also substantial and sturdy. The clever drop-down mechanism on the side panel can be used while holding baby in your arms, which is brilliant. It also provides a safe option for baby to lie in aside from the pram or a nest. I’ve used the Chicco in my kitchen for safe day naps when I need to be more focussed on my older child.
