Tencel is a naturally hygienic fibre made from 100% biodegradable wood pulp cellulose. The wood used comes from tree farms practicing sustainability and is guaranteed by the European Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) quality seal and the international Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) standards label. It is as cool as linen, soft as silk and even more absorbent than cotton, making it the perfect waterproof bed protector.
Tencel’s unique moisture absorption capacity draws away moisture and helps you keep cool even on the hottest of nights. Without moisture the growth of bacteria is inhibited. Without bacteria, mould and mites similarly find life more difficult. The polyurethane layer also acts as an anti allergy barrier – further protecting against mites which are a major cause of hayfever and asthma – and makes these mattress protectors 100% waterproof without the awful feeling of lying on a crisp packet!

More clever products joined Hippychick and just like a child, the company seemed to shoot up before our very eyes. We had a fully-fledged business with proper offices and a team of staff.
Julia and Jeremy’s family had also grown to 5 with 3 children plus an increasing number of pets. Jeremy left his job to share his financial and selling expertise with Hippychick.
Why We Love It
This protector is so useful – it is very soft, and, importantly, retains its softness after multiple washing. It is useful to have this generally, but especially during potty training.

Standard Delivery – Free on orders over £50, otherwise £4
Usually delivered within 4-5 working days.
Exceptional circumstances beyond our control such as bad weather or courier delays may cause your order to take longer to deliver.
Next-day Delivery – £6
Order by 2pm for next-day delivery. Orders placed after 2pm on a Friday will be delivered on Tuesday.
If you order later than 2pm, but need it the next day give us a call and we will do our best to help.

Returns
Return orders to us within 30 days of the date of purchase. If you are outside of this period, contact us and we will do our best to help.
We will refund the product price and the original delivery cost (unless you are returning only part of the order).
